Before history began to be documented there was interactions between the tribes of continents. From spices to music to knowledge. Today we continue this interaction.
A place where cultures meet
A celebration of individuality and parallels
As the Jade stones sings in its silent glory
Ebony hums in mysterious contentment
The future of performance is in our hands and moving still.
Dances and mantras ignite our sleeping heritages
As we find delight in the harmonic tones and remember lost dances of a thousand tribes.
Cultures meet in a paradigm that alters and re affirms our perceptions.
WE , THE INTERNATINAL MISFITS, ARE NEW YORK CITY.
NO MATTER HOW STRONG YOUR ACCENT IS, OR GOOD YOUR ENGLISH IS
OR AMERICAN YOU MAY LOOK.
WE LIVE HERE. WE ARE THE MUSIC. WE ARE THE MESSAGE. WE ARE THE LESSON AND WE ARE NOT EVEN TRYING TO TEACH.
